OpenAI Build Week Challenge 2026

LifePilot — Newcomer Action Plan

Turning confusing life-admin research into a clear, private checklist for newcomers to Ireland.

The problem

Newcomers often need PPS, immigration, GP, mobile, banking, and moving help at the same time. They must compare many websites, unfamiliar rules, and conflicting advice.

The solution

LifePilot asks a few short questions and turns existing verified guidance into an actionable plan with today tasks, weekly tasks, documents, official links, and completion checkboxes.

Who it helps

Newcomers to Ireland, immigrants, international workers, students, and people who prefer English or Simplified Chinese.

What existed before Build Week

LifePilot already had service-entry pages, bilingual guide content, official links, local service categories, merchant infrastructure, PWA basics, and Limerick as the main city focus.

What was newly built

The Build Week sprint adds the Newcomer Action Plan, deterministic plan engine, local checklist storage, `/plan/`, `/build-week/`, validation, testing evidence, and submission materials.

How Codex and GPT-5.6 were used

Codex and GPT-5.6 helped design the plan structure, implement the static feature, create bilingual copy, validate safety rules, run QA, and prepare the submission package.
